Polignano a Mare

The historic centre is the most frequented place of Polignano by visitors and tourists. Walking through the alleys between the white houses you can comes to lodges, charming balconies overlooking the sea. Polignano counts among its illustrious sons two genuine talents: Domenico Modugno, one of the greatest exponents of Italian Song, and Pino Pascali, artist, sculptor and set designer who has achieved consensus nationally and internationally, to whom Polignano has dedicated a Museum of Contemporary art.
